>>43752111>nta but based. Got any advice for debt consolidation so I can get out of the sinkhole? I am already working on getting a better jobDepends on what kind of debts they are.
Generally most banks have some leniency for that stuff, especially in the era of inflation, the important thing is to keep them informed of what's going, staying quiet, ignoring bills and such is how you get debt collectors on your ass, and once that shit hits a collection agency, you're in deep shit, those assholes are NOT nice people, they'll use the full power of tax law to garnish every cent you make.
For a tax debt, again, extensions are a thing, its like 90% of my job, someone calls, asks for an extension or a payment plan, and the payment plans are very lenient, its only if my records show that your debt is to damn high, like 5 digit high, that things change a bit, on those kinds of debts I gotta send you to another department.
So flat out, best advice I can give is like I said, keep track of your debts, keep the people holding them informed, do not ignore those letters or phone calls.
