>>80682050Its not a blog, Im writing directly to Nerissa to keep her company. Let me tell you a quick story of how I learned the value of the company of a friend.
>jury dutyI went to jury duty for the first time and I had no idea what to expect. Essentially you show up before 8 and then you sit and wait for hours until the call your name and then you wait for even more hours. It was my first time so I didnt know that, so from 8-11 I was just sitting on the chair browsing the internet losing my mind. I had a girlfriend at that time so I didnt want to go talk to the few cute women that were there and I was about to lose it, then they call my name and tell me to report at a courtroom at like 1:30. Even more waiting, I couldnt be there anymore or I would go crazy so I left and waited in my car. Luckily I managed to contact one of my friends on his busy work day and he gladly texted me the entire time.
No joke, the simple comfort of talking to a friend kept me sane for all those hours. I was so grateful he took time to talk to me, I would have lost my sanity otherwise and that was just a few hours isolated. I cant imagine how Nerissa is feeling. If I can provide her some comfort just messaging her like this, then I will, I care about her and showing kindness is the least I can do.
