This year was a little odd with Tempus In Japan because shiny spicy were physically in the country earlier for 3Ds so they got their two eps with just them, and then the latter four eps were just VG. There was overlap time with all six members present but they never took the opportunity to film something combined, not even a single song like TOTW 6-man, or something with the JP senpais for 3D or a showcase. It's practically two separate anniversaries anyway, putting the altventurer and axelotl mascot plushies in the haunted school challenge didn't really combine them all that well. From what shinyspicy have said, they had a lot more individualistic plans for their HQ anni that didn't pan out, so at the end of the day across May-July we kinda got VG3D and then a primarily VG focused week of anni episodes and then Unchained had it's asshole gaped before being dumped on Hakka's channel. The lore voice packs and nuis are peak, but overall the vibe is still very split, especially with VG not being given any structure or cohesion on their actual anni, they have to put that effort into Tempus Week, which then just feels like it separates them from HQ all the more. It's frustrating that they didn't just have them be separate gens from the beginning, or work a lot harder to showcase actual full unity projects.
