It's like before she used to lean on us a bit, reveal something significant about herself, her doubts, thoughts and so on, but now she has a kind of front which interacts with us but doesn't actually touch upon her real person as it once did. It's like as if her legion of fans made her less approachable, less involved with us on a more emotional level. It's not that she's pretending to be anyone else, it's that she isn't interacting with us in any meaningful way. She is internally absent. It's... like knowing a person and talking to them, and everything's fine and good, but you know that they aren't actually sharing anything significant with you or truly interacting with you on a deeper, emotional level. An acquaintance if you will.
And all of that is sad, really sad for me. Because I remember how wonderful those beginnings were and how delightful she was. Now I'm just a passive observer and I feel no connection or resonance.
