Speaking of, he's actually rather open on liking Oreimo and Saya no Uta afterall, so it's not like he's trying to hide it in the first place. He just never really elaborate on the reason why he likes those media, but if my memories serves me right, he mentioned once that he likes a story that could destroy the audience emotinally. It's why he enjoys Nakiges as well.
It still doesn't explain why he likes Oreimo tho, so maybe someone could force him to elaborate on that later...
