Serious answer: The 2nd amendment, which guarantees the right to bear arms, was added by the country's founders in the list of God-given rights, The Bill of Rights (USA Constitutional Amendments 1-10). They are immutable, and if the government denies you these rights then it is illegitimate and you have an appeal to heaven, blah blah fight me. For more info on the history and inspiration read "The Founders' Second Amendment" by Stephen Halbrook. Or if that's too much to read, simply check out the debates that precede the adoption of the Bill of Rights, between Jefferson and Hamilton--Federalists v. Antifederalists--as well as the english history that inspired the 2nd amendment, such as the British Bill of Rights of 1689, or how kings would demand their subjects to be armed. Or if you're illiterate just browse the wikipedia page as even it can't lie too much about it.
