Among myth I still watch my oshi but the rest of my time is occupied watching indies, small corpos, a nijis and HoloID. Vtubing is massive and staying to a single tribe or a single vtuber is not the way to go, as there are others that might resonate to you more or have interests at are more in line to you. But I am not alone in that sentiment, since I'm sure the inclusion of the "extended universe" is a mark that fellow members of my fanbase can enjoy vtubers within and outside of hololive.
What does need cultivating is to provide an environment that allows vtubers of more specialized or niche interests is to thrive, and for that to happen they must be supported and shilled to others who mighted interest them. And tribalfaggotry aka forming groups based on (((company))) lines get in the way of a more mature userbase.
