The cat has two failing kidneys, can't groom himself and frequently devolves into fits of dementia that only Fauna can shake him out of. Fauna transfuses fluids through an IV to keep his kidneys from breaking down further, cleans him and treats any health issues as soon as they come up and barely ever leaves the house unless she has a cat sitter so she can always be around to help Clover if he gets scared or confused. She's probably added AT LEAST a half decade to Clover's life.
