The problem with raising a baby inside of you is compounded when they need neuron growth. the baby even pierces the blood barrier and conducts chemical warfare on the mom and steals her nutrients. The final nail in the coffin for female intellignece though is that women are a bottleneck for the mother to spread her genes. It benefits her genes the most to have a son. This means that if her first born is a daughter, its better if she has a smaller head than a male, because a son is worth the gamble of death from complications during labor. Women are much more likely to abandon their own daughters to an orphanage than their sons btw.
