Wanna know why both "unhinged" and "mindbroken" is something that VERY EASILY identifies someone from the "outgroup"?
It is because it is the ANTITHESIS of what the Holo audience looks for in their entertainment.
Here is the one japanese "word" that entered in the lexicon of the Holo audience back in 2019 and 2020
>TeeTeemeaning Holo girls showing love, care and tenderness to each other.
That's a huge differentiator between the Holo audience and the rest of the audiences: outside of Holo the appeal of having different streamers together is the DRAMA it causes while for Holo, it's the OVERWHELMING POSITIVENESS.
But that is not all, that's the "interpersonal relationship between the girls" part. There is a second big factor which is
>the relationship between the Holo girls and the shared audience The Holo audience is pretty much a "pariah" with regards to mainstream entertainment both in Japan and abroad.
Making fun of "Otakus" is a very normal thing in Japan, and making fun of "western weebs", "social maladjusted males" and other stereotypes that, yeah, make for a good part of the Holo audience is acceptable and carries no detrimental blowback on people doing it.
Every single corner of the entertainment industry looks down on this audience, even within the hobby itself, indies themselves look down on that audience
>except the Holo girlsThey not only don't look down on them but THEY ACTIVELY CATER TO THAT AUDIENCE with words, actions and content.
It then became a positive reinforcement cycle
>Holo girls cater to this previously neglected audience>The audience showers the Holo girls with money, love and fame beyond all of their peersThen every new girl brough to the fold has a choice. She can
>cater to the exact needs of that audience, like Raora, Cecilia and GG did>cater to the needs of the general audience and "leave the fold" like ERB didThe reason the Holo audience not only embraced but elevated Cecilia beyond any possible height she reached as an indie has ZERO to do with her being a Cover Corp employee or a Hololive member.
It has everything to do with two things
1) she quickly learned that the audience she needs to cater is the Holo audience
2) the holo audience quickly learned that, regardless of what she did in her pre Holo career, she is willing to play ball now
