There were reported to be a total of 47 of them during Iskandar Muda's reign.

That's true for the chinese. Meanwhile the austronesians had experiences from sailing all the way to Hawaii and Madagascar to compensate
The vtubians with the same level of navy traditions as the austronesians should be the ones who would build such a monster. That and plenty of wood to go around.
