>Very beginning of the game I give an immediate warning that I WILL PUT YOUR SOULS IN TEDDY BEARS IF YOU DO SOMETHING STUPID!>I put on my best Meeta impression and show off the store including the weapons, armor, soul furnace to keep the souls, the mines where the demon slaves do shit, >they all look around for shit to buy while the girl kind of just slumps in her seat (she was tired or something idk) >They realize all the shit is way too fucking expensive so I decide to give them quests for discounts and the girl goes up and steals some electric crystals from the capitol>She is now raised from random thief to actual wanted criminal but is very happy with her shiny electric crystal while Meeta gets the other ones>The barbarian and paladin decide to go literally whip some demons into shape and kills one that just wanted to die instead of dealing with their bullshit>The ranger went all in on animals and wanted a bird. He chose the pigeon of all things. >The paladin buys full late armor, barbarian gets his fire sword, rogue gets her zappy crystal, and ranger gets his new pets. Money spent and all is good>They sleep for the night and for once the thief decides to not steal some shit>they thank Meeta for being cool (they were scared of her the whole time understandably) and beeline it back to /risu/>I roll like fucking shit for encounters so they escape the country. >Paladin realizes he could have asked for a way to revive his old character too late and gets sadThey are level 9 now and since they are geared up I told them they will stop the exploration plase and get more into the heavy quests. They have been asking for this for a little bit and I am more than willing to do that.
The main problem is that the company that contracted me decided to cut me from future contracts. Turns out that people paying me $35 an hour to play dungeons and dragons was a good gig but the bosses decided that I could just host future sessions at my house which is what I will probably do. I definitely dont want to give up this campaign since I invested a lot into it and so did the players. Anyway I hugged the girl, told them all that we would continue sometime next month after the holidays, then we could have some fun :)
