GTA Online has legit racing, gimmicky racing, deathmatch, capture the flag and other game modes that combine racing/shooting, actually well-developed minigames like golf, tennis, skydiving, and custom map maker. Plus the freemode is undefeated for fun fucking around gameplay and character customization. It would be like the Minecraft festival but more fun.
Unfortunately even without the PC hackers, it would be very hard to organize something like that. I haven't been able to do something like that with friends despite consistently playing the game since launch. But a man can dream....
