Let me tell you about one of my favorite vtuber design and concept, too. This is the pinnacle of a strong, virile and more traditional/rural adult guy; the springtime of youth. You can see he looks like an honest country bumpkin untouched by urbanization but lives a very strong life. Probably farm, chop wood and things like that but is full of energy. Also carries an air of tradition, nature and freeness. (It's from a set of group art from that era) but I think Jiyou's was even more farmer-like and country, I feel, and he fits it best with his smile and personality fits it best.
