I would stay up and lose sleep because if she joined VC or pre-chat, and I wasn't there, those moments would be lost forever. This is why I liked when she got Discord chatting back, because I can just scroll back and see what was posted.
Of course, this was a personal issue, and I've started handling these emotions better lately.
