Not because she "needs to apologize", but the backslash could become a problem, and I'm not talking about /vt/, I'm talking about Twitter and Reddit.
The comments don't make sense, you can argue it's just an opinion, but when you say that this opinion is backed up by other people and it seems to be false, unintentionally or not, you're a liar.
Of course Vei doesn't have to say anything in the long run, but if this goes from being a nothingburger to actual disapproval from a portion of the fanbase, I don't think it will end 100% well.
