I've seen people use color maps, but thought it was just preference as there's also a purely mask based one, which is much closer to my original workflow. Maybe I'll try color masks next.
Yeah, generally I also try to use the recommended prompting style. I even did a few tests right now to see if I was maybe overprompting, since someone (I think it might have been you) said they keep their negative prompts short. Picrel is the general level of quality there. Nice pictures, but the halo is wrong. There are occasional images that get it right, but it's much more miss than hit.
