personal opinion:
this is an aspect i dislike about vtubing becoming a corporate industry: always chasing fast growth, through any metric they can see. this takes me back to, i believe was Vesper, sho mentioned holo management didnt pressure them about numbers (nsmely KPI); they are just happy with any tslent of any branch doing their thing and grow in time. but in small corpos, due to the initial investment, rushing to get a return, might get results for a given period, but afterwards they may see a plateue and think something is going wrong. in my opinion, vtubing as a streaming activity, should be good enough when you achieve a stable audience, especially for indie; but as corporate, a company will always thrive for year-by-year (or whatever period) growth...
