Then I use FRAPS to record completely uncompressed 4GB .avi files to an SSD because if I tried to save them to a normal HDD the write speed wouldn't be fast enough.
I have to continually delete these .avi files while the stream happens because they're so big I wouldn't have enough space for an entire stream because it's about ~4GB per minute.
Then when something happens I momentarily stop recording so the moment is near the end of the latest .avi file.
I open the .avi file in Virtualdub. In Virtualdub I can cut, crop, or edit the raw video to be more appropriate for a webm that can fit here. Then when I'm done cutting the video I output the raw audio as a .wav also in Virtualdub. Then I save the edited video file also as an .avi.
Then I put the edited .avi file into WebmForRetards (WebmForBakas). I usully keep the bitrate at around 3000, but I'll lower it for webms that will be 20 seconds or longer.
While the .avi is being converted to webm I open the .wav file in Audacity and convert it to .mp3.
Then I upload the .mp3 to catbox and then paste the link into a notepad file that has the soundpost format in it so it's easy to change the final filename.
Then I change the filename of the final webm and final mp3 to have the soundpost filename. I backup the audio files just in case the soundposts break sometime in the future.
It sounds like a lot, but each step only takes a few seconds.
I'm positive there are faster or more convenient ways to do all of this, but this is the method I prefer because the quality of the webms is up to my own standard.
Then I upload the .mp3
