"Doing well on your exams" or "being able to study well" are both very common types of omamori you can purchase from shrines. In-universe these omamori probably have small pieces of chuubanite in them to give them a bit of actual power. Of course they have a lot of JKs, so you'd want at least some of that chuubanite to have powers based on their personalities instead of just on them being JKs.
