>>59708952I think it's normal to warm up to vtubers with time, some people find their oshi a lot later than others and it happens all the time. Some fans even take pride in their oshi winning new people over. For Finana specifically I don't think people would automatically assume you're nostalgic for the old days, I know I wouldn't. You'll need a ryuguard take on this one but I think she really did improve with time as an entertainer. Remembering how things started for her with all those one-note clips it wasn't unusual for people to revaluate their opinion on her later.
>For me the best days are right now because I am still enjoying my time with Finana.Well said. I do miss the days of comfy small NijiEN but at the same time it only makes me appreciate Lazulight more right now because they've all grown so much. Usually people reminisce about the good old days because of how natural and "homegrown" things were. But the thing with Lazulight is they never really became "too professional", too far removed from what made them great. The EN branch in general has developed far beyond the roots they've planted but they still are its roots. And when they get together they are, without fail, just as entertaining as they were two years ago. So yeah, the best day to like your oshi is always today.
