Imagine waiting for Shu for hours, he's so late you end up falling asleep in the couch, the dinner on the table cold and untouched. You wake up with the sound of the door opening, it's 2am, you jump off the couch, still groggy, and reaches to hug Shu. He avoids you, he looks flushed, drunk but there's something else. He avoids looking in your eyes. You ask him if he still wants to have dinner, he pauses and with some hesitansy says he's already full, that he ate with his manager. You are proud your husband is getting along so well with his superiors. You notice a weird smell, very bitter, you lean in to chek if it's his clothes but Shu pushes you away and says he'll take a shower. Once he enters the shower you hear what sounds like throwing up, crying? You knock on the door to ask if Shu is ok, he says it's nothing.
Once his done with the shower he joins you in the bed, his hair wet, his eyes glazed. You don't understand why he's avoiding looking at you, maybe he's just tired. You get closer to him, touch him under the sheets, but flinches with your touch and says sorry, that he's too tired today. He turns to sleep, his back turned to you. You feel lonely, the next day when you wake up he's already off to work and you are alone, again.
