I mentioned it at the time, but I didn't find anything concrete or even hearsay from an unbiased source. The root of the claims is a competitor in the CN market linking some vague statements from a CN vtuber (which they claim is Yuefu) to NOA's president, and trying to say that Yuefu owns NOA and Metishon.
When I followed up with Quinn after the fiasco to clarify details, she had no idea what the hell I was talking about, although she was able to confirm some details, which I did publish at the time.
I'm not saying that it's not true, but I wasn't able to find anything that could make it seem plausibly true, and anybody that COULD prove it would likely be a competitor or an independent CN source (who, due to the nature of how Chinese business works, would be very risky to take at face value).
At this time, I would consider it a rrat with meat on its bones at best.
I'm still on the shelf for a couple more days at least, but I could try to follow up with Quinn about the other stuff. It's likely she'll ignore me or tell me to fuck off.
Or, knowing my track record, I'll accidentally create some larger incident.
