Matsudo City collaborated with VASE to produce a PSA with the vtuber Tojo Rinka. This, however, brought ire of the Feminist Parliamentary League, who deemed it "misoginistic".

Japanese companies tend to overreact to any bad PR, and I'm afraid stuff like this could become even more common, with activists and politicians kicking off vtubers from the public space in the name of... whatever they claim to believe in.
