>>58992138Not quite. The source material leans more heavily into the MC being chuuni as fuck at almost all times. He doesn't particularly care about any of the girls beyond appreciating them "playing along" with his fantasies, and he's completely unaware that most of them borderline worship him. It's like Overlord if Ainz was always aiming for cool points instead of trying to run a nation.
That said, the gacha does go rather heavy in the (You)/Cid pandering, including with characters like Iris (didn't interact with him much as Cid and fucking hates Shadow) and Claire (Cid's blood related older sister, though she is definitely a brocon).
