Hello ruffians!
Thanks to your encouragement I started with my Nihongo learning journey!
Day 600: Today I've done my anki and immersion reps. For anki I've learned 5 new cards. For immersion I've continued watching JP stream.
The last time I wrote a little bit of a longer update was on the day 500 (
>>91922960), and my main issue then was that I didn't have anything in particular to write about. Well, now I do.
During this last 100 days I finally started mining my own words. Okay, technically, I already had some words saved but I hadn't made them into the anki cards yet. When I finally figured out how I would like my cards to look, instead of making completely new deck for mining I decided to just start adding them to the Core 2.3k deck I've been using and make it into the my own Core ++ deck. Similar to when I was going through normal Core deck, I'm still sticking to doing 5 new cards a day. it's not much, but it's a number I'm confident I'll consistently manage to achieve. As of today, I've gone through 380 new cards.
When it comes to immersion, I've been mostly watching anime in the first 2 months, but in the past month or so I've switched to JP streams. Basically, I was craving some gaming streams that are not FWMC one (I've gone into a bit more details here
>>97402444).
It's not all good though and there's of course a room for improvement. The first thing that comes to mind is my reading skill. It's considerably lacking compared to my listening ability... Nevertheless, I'm pretty pleased wiht the progress in the past 100 days.
