>>60617165It wasn't at a super high speed, but I basically left braking until too late because I wasn't paying attention and ran into the back of a sedan. I tried to turn the bike away just before impact and caused it to tip, so the bike itself was falling to the ground when I rammed into the car. I was launched off (the twist in my body that occured from the initial launch slightly fractured my lower vertebrae) and hit the back window of the car. I didn't go through but I cracked it before falling off. I had a bruise on my shoulder and some serious swelling in my leg, but besides the fracture no bones were broken. I think I owe this to the motorcycle gear I was wearing though (armoured jacket, kevlar jeans, gloves and ahelmet), because if I was in normal clothes it could have been worse.
