It's a damn crime that I always forget to check these! You're damn good at keeping a scene interesting while telling information about the character's and info about Deadbeat that's important for the reader to know, you've got a certain knack for writing in certain alliances and presenting other cultures in a lite that makes them more interesting too. The only thing I can think of as a critique is that I got confused with some of the character names and that there were a few minor grammar things, nanora!
I've gotta ask if you've got a particular process or mindset you put yourself to when you write or if you have any inspirations in particular? I'm not sure why but I'm reminded of the WH40k novels just a bit.
Also, do you take the time to write out your character's personalities and relationships before you start writing? I really want to write a chaptered story but I always get hung up on the intro...
