In both cases, designing a UI with calculations for everyone about what the fuck just happened will be a pain in the ass. This won't be fun with a little notice in the top right "you placed 5th in the queue thanks for your money here's 20 Rushia" being there for 2-3 seconds, people using this might not even notice they just got something.
