Both of them laugh at first, but it trails off into a loaded silence, before Kyo finally blurts it out - "you know I like you, like LIKE you?".
Enna can't breathe for a moment, shivering, but before she can consider her words she's replying to him, her heart acting against her brain's judgement; "Do you want to try being more than just besties?"
