>>64504719I guess an actual point I could make is that I'd say breakcore is more similar in scope to chillwave as a genre than it is to the entirety of synth. Both seem to be pretty narrow at least, and both are more repetitive/low energy subsections of their broader genres. Or at least I feel that it's the case, I never really focused on the genre until I heard naiyo reference it specifically.
