>>55227537I recommend using hydrus. I moved over when I was reaching ~800 images a folder and thumbnails stopped loading in windows.
it's tag based, so it's like a personal booru and handles duplicate files well. downside is you have to tag everything by hand (can bulk tag), but you can use your folder names to speed up that process. I also like that it saves info from twitter links, eg image set, url, user, comment.
