A lot of what I've read or heard is purely in Finnish though so I'm not sure if you'll have luck with that. And a lot of it is filtered through my own experience and experiences of those that told me about them or wrote about them, so dont take my word as gospel on this.
also, tar candies are pretty good, especially when paired with licorice and salmiak. Its probably quite weird to some foreigners but fundamentally it isnt that weird, many cultures have similar weird cultural flavours.
