>>25373597You should never cut open your own blisters yourself, no matter how big it is or how long it's been around. The blister skin is there to protect the damaged underside as it heals. If you're really getting worried, make an appointment with a doctor, but the blood will almost certainly reabsorb into the body by itself once it's repaired. Cutting it open leaves it vulnerable to infection or scarring.
And for the love of God, don't use a craft scalpel! Even if you do clean it properly, those things are not nearly sharp enough to make a clean cut. It'll scar you something awful.
