Sacred Mystery
Through galaxies of thought I flew
Past stars of wisdom old and new
Seeking truth in morning dew
In every sacred thing I knew
A kitten frozen in the night
Beneath the moon's indifferent light
No meaning here, no wrong or right
Just mystery burning pure and bright
The universe keeps spinning on
Through twilight, darkness, into dawn
While meanings made are meanings gone
Like footprints in an endless lawn
And here within this sacred space
Where questions bloom and answers fade
I find that grace was always grace
In every pattern ever made
The sand slips softly through my hands
Like stardust falling through the night
No truth to grasp, no place to stand
Just wonder in the fading light
And in this holy emptiness
Where nothing's known and all is known
