>>43130004>False memory syndromeI'm not talking about that. False memory syndrome is a construct specifically made to protect abusers, especially influential ones, by claiming that the (dissociated) memories of abuse are fake and made up. I'd argue the "satanism" involved in human trafficing is another such tool used to intentionally make the trauma survivors' stories sound unbelievable, because obviously they're just crazy if they think there were satanistic cults involved. Just the Dutroux affair alone shows how insidious and widespread these systems in place are.
It's another example of how society doesn't know how to deal with child trauma and abuse either. Nothing genuinely difficult ever gets sorted out.
> I've researched this for nigh on 30 years consistently and I have yet to encounter one single case history where someone was found to have confabulated an Abduction experience that was a screen-memory for trauma's perpetrated by Human's and that's been true of my own experiences.Sure, but what I said applies still to emotional flashbacks and complex trauma, since very early trauma will not consist of any kind of specific memories, nor will you have the ability to integrate those memories, since they're just not there in a reconstructable form at all. Having a flashback where you're in a panic and "feel hunted,"
>If you really want to get spooked, listen to the audio from Barney Hill's hypnosis session, no context for something that could provoke that much of an extreme emotional response but something terrifying he couldn't find a context for beyond being hunted. is exactly the kind of thing you might receive from very early trauma and complex trauma in general. Lost time is on the other hand a further indication of structural dissocation, which opens up another whole clusterfuck in terms of DID and OSDD, where the possibility of determining the veracity of things from the outside becomes too challenging. If someone has very early trauma, loses time, there a large possibility for the existence of dissociated, developed structures in the form of alters, doing things, living life and storing memories in a way where they're not accessible to the non-dissociated part of the personality, then popping up in some way when that part gets triggered into partially contaminating the mind.
Basically I'm not even going to start trying to determine what's true or not. If aliens are here, they can crash on the moon for all I care.
