The actual issue with asagi’s Nimi design are the weird tweaks to the color palette. The chibi had better color cohesion with brighter eyes, brighter uniform, and darker hair. As far as how both compare to Fauna’s design, I don’t think people realize how much work the hair covering one eye puts in to the overall vibe of that design, and if you simply made that one change (which can easily be done with alt uniforms), then you’d capture the same general feel.
