Something thats worth noting is that the Dodgers for years were mocked for having such a high payroll but with no World Series rings to match it. Even last year they had many stretches of underperforming with the talent on that roster.
Also worth nothing is that many fans that cry about the Dodgers are fans of teams, whose owners can do the same thing the Dodgers are doing, but do not. (Also its funny that many fans were banking on a team owned by one of the Canadian duopolies to "Save Baseball")
