Dead subs or not it's promoting your channel into YouTube algorithm especially when you focus on one type of content, since I got recommended a ton of vtubers playing Tetris just because I watch Suisei and other pros clips. But you have to do something more unique than 'Debuting soon, please come and visit!' since thats what most of them do. You can actually shill for your channel here and vtuber thread in /jp/ too
