If not, plans are set into motion to procure the smallest possible, while still variable, group of individuals, which are then transported back to the home system, where they are brainwashed into basic animals, fit only for our consumption. At that stage, they are classified as "ingredients".
That, however, applies only if we can transport them back. We cannot. So instead, we will simply make a data entry about them, edible or not, and then once we are further developed, employ the services of other nations which are, let's say...more well versed in that specific field.
