It's a simple FPS for a beginner, a spooky-but-not-really-scary game to ease her into horror games, and plenty of opportunity for chat interaction as she proceeds through levels. I imagine chat would have to backseat like crazy to help her find keys and switches, heh. She'd hate the visuals so much, though.
