FGO has better writing even in the butchered NA translation than almost anything else and LB6 was the first time a piece of media genuinely made me cry in at least 10 years. As a game itself, it is better than people give it credit for IMO just because it at least avoids being chibishit and you can comfortably do your farming in a few minutes while you're taking a shit which is better than a lot of other gacha games that want to dominate your entire life at all times
All that being said, I still can't recommend FGO to anyone.
