>>92332I think the orangeposting is important at this early stage in the board's life. It's going to frustrate and eventually drive off R*ddit and Tw*tter fags who used to infest the generals on /jp/. Newfags usually gravitate towards the first general on whatever board they've discovered, because it's safe and familiar and probably full of others of their ilk. General threads are a necessity to prevent the catalog from getting cluttered, but they inevitably attract newfags who never assimilate to the rest of the board's culture because they never leave their R*ddit colony. Forcing everyone onto this new board, where they have no established general to retreat to, and are forced to deal with the same level of shitposting and inter-board raiding that everyone else on this garbage Ugandan gorilla poaching forum has to deal with, is a good thing. They'll either give up and leave, or learn to actually fucking lurk and find out that there's a lot more to this site than their shitty circle jerk of 80-200 posters. That and orangeposting reminds me of Garybombing, way back when /vp/ was in its infancy.
Posting another Mori so my post is at least somewhat on topic.
