>>7096875You probably won't understand, but they are using their brains. Mostly to remember bad or good experiences, and to try to avoid/encourage them, but they are still using them. There's shitposters too, and they're using their brains to bait.
The serious dads think their opinions are truth. And when you have multiple truths trying to fight each other for dominance it's going to be mendokusai. Especially because most of them care about the outcome here. There's something tangible to lose (this community) or gain (a "better" community) for them. This is why everyone is arguing about the hypothetical offtopic discord, not a /yah/craft team one.
The worst part is that Bea (probably correctly) refuses to share her goals. So we don't even have an actual goal to work towards. Without that, it's everyone picking their own goals. But, you know what? Shitposters aside, both of these dads really want to see the community succeed in some form, or they wouldn't be arguing.
Personally I'm not foolish enough to think I can change anyone else's opinions. I guess I'll just try to be strong for now. I think this is a deliberate attempt at slowly changing the community, not just with this "literally nothing" but with others. We've already seen a few in the past few weeks. I'm interested to see what she plans to do with it - and if I'll have a place there.
