That doesn't mean I won't try to make each and every stop as fun and exciting as it can be along the way. On the one hand I get not wanting to get potentially invested in a piece until you can be sure it's not gonna blue ball on the chance you get really into it, but I also sometimes find reading things as they iteratively come out to be rewarding in its own way. You're kinda there in the moment when new stuff happens and can even voice what you did or didn't like about it. Something like that can end up having an impact on how things move forward, and hopefully it's for the better.
