The chapter is set up to be shorter than most if only to encourage me to keep working on it, with the premise being gambling in Fubuki's back room for various enchanted trinkets after going alone to her shop for the usual repair business only to find the fox a bit more handsy than usual as she expresses wanting to see you more. The penalty for losing the simple dice game being Fubuki leeching from your soul in more and more direct ways, leading to a potential bad end scenario. I've gotten to the lead up with getting into Fubuki's back room by forcing my brain against the grindstone and letting the sparks fly out. Current rewards are:
Mirage Assault Broach: 50% chance to repeat last attack, which can chain together with diminishing chances of landing. Success means next roll is 25%, to 12.5%,etc.
Adamantine Badge: 40% chance to reduce damage taken by 5
Sanguine Badge: On landing an attack doing over 10dmg, call a face and flip a coin; successfully calling the flip will cause bleeding for the rest of the fight. (2dmg a turn)
Breeze Broach: +1 to dodge rolls (if a 9 becomes a 10, it doesn't count as a crit)
