This picture is even more worthless when it's something like Vtuber. Are you a vtuber? Then guess what, you can gatekeep your fans if you really want.
If you're a viewer then you have no ownership of the vtuber or their fanbase and even if you were some "I was there on debut when she only had 5 viewers that weren't her friends or family"you still don't have any ownership of the development of the vtuber or their fanbase.
And if you are the "owner" of a hobby who started something, then if you let people 'debase' your vision you either made something that you can't control even if you wanted to do so, or you're a pushover weakling who isn't capable of controlling it anyway.
