that's fair, and though it isn't universal at all, it does point towards what I was assuming: It felt like this thread is more likely to have people who have oshihen'd than other threads like global or nijiEN, for examples.
I assume that's also just a byproduct of the thread culture not being specifically about a company/group and supporting it (despite, you know, the obvious biases that naturally developed), so there's no strong stigma against admitting to oshihen compared to other ones, so long as it isn't being described in an overly callous way.
To be fair, I could be going through this with a lens of bias myself. I definitely have, at one point, oshihen'd, even though it was less of "dropping a girl for another" and more "strongly preferring one girl over others, until my oshi debuted and I understood the MASSIVE difference between 'girl you like more than others' and 'girl you oshi.'" But it does seem to be true, even despite the possible bias I'm looking at it with.
