The market for NijiID just didn't exist. they spoke indonesians, models designed by indonesian artists, some of them even had indonesian culture as part of the model, but they never got high viewership outside of a very small few.
As for the people leaving, my thoughts are as follows.

We have to keep in mind that these 4 have been in the game for almost 4 years, its understandable they would want to walk away after a bit.
