Just check the conduct of Gigguk sending an SC versus KOG.
Gigguk sent some money to Coco as an "ironic" way to participate in the hobby.
https://youtu.be/7kh6fRfd4Oc?t=31> haha guys, look at me simp for this anime girl, isn't this funny? Was his whole vibe.
He immediately made excuses when called out for it at well, playing it off as just "ironically" sending some money for the jokes while he was drunk. He would NEVER simp for her if he was sober, no siree. No genuine interest in the person herself, no understanding of her love for the Yakuza franchise, the origin behind her name, no checking out her friends, no watching any regular old stream, just a random little SC for the "meme" around her to "fit in" with the new weeb VTuber crowd so that they could continue their grift.
> Meanwhile, the chad KOG -https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ZpYy6fniVgKoG on the other hand basically went down a route similar to what any old regular hololive otaku would go down.
Watching one girl, watching a collab with her, getting interested in one of her friends, repeat until you have 5-6 girls you're intereseted in, play holocure, play idol showdown, watch Gen5's concert and Korone's Jump King stream, and at the end even parallel watching of multiple holos.
The difference in passion between the two is so obviously noticeable for people that are real Hololive fans - i.e. those that watch streams regularly and buy merch.
